Calogero Nasca

Calogero Nasca, 90 years of age, passed away on February 14, 2023. He was surrounded by the love of his family at his home in Sunrise, Florida. Calogero was born in Tunisia, and immigrated to the United States at a young age. He lived in New York before moving to South Florida. He loved music; his passion was playing the accordion his whole life. In addition he enjoyed playing a challenging game of billiards. He met and shortly thereafter married his soulmate Josephine on October 6, 1956. Together they shared 66 years of marriage, raising a loving family. He was the cherished Father of Nick Nasca, Sal Nasca and Josephine Hines. He was the dear brother of Carmela Delisi and Connie Brucato. He was also a loved father in law of Renata Nasca and Toni Nasca. He was the loved Nonno to 7 grandchildren and Nonnino to 9 great grandchildren. He was eagerly anticipating the birth of his 10th great grandchild. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00- 8:00 PM at the T.M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home 7001 Northwest 4th Street Plantation. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday 11:00AM at All Saints Catholic Church 10900 West Oakland Park Blvd Sunrise, Florida. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn South in Davie, FL.
