Betty Lee Wolfrey

Betty Wolfrey passed away peacefully at home on August 28, 2026 just hours after her 100th birthday. Over the years Betty opened her heart and home to many family members and friends, offering a delicious meal from her magical kitchen, as well as a warm comfortable bed. Betty was a loving wife to her husband, Dan, and devoted mother to her four children and their spouses, Larry Elliott (Anita), Johnnie Wolfrey (Susan), Dixie Kellum (Tommy) and Don Perkins. Betty was Mema to two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. In addition to her unconditional love for her family and her extraordinary cooking skills she was a top-notch fisherwoman and spent many happy hours on the waters of South Florida. Though we will miss you immensely, the love, kindness and wisdom you shared with all of us will live in our hearts forever.
