Beth Partalis passed away peacefully due to natural causes at the age of 91. She was born in New York City to Basilios and Garoufalia Moulas who immigrated from Greece. Beloved Mother of Greg (Lynn), Bill (Bridgit), Karen (Angelo), and Matt (Dick). Cherished Yiayia (Grandmother) of Rory (Monica), JB (Dottie), Evan (Lauren), Lorin (Eddie), Julie, Katie, Emily (Chris), Richard (Patrick). Dear Great Grandmother (Mega Yiayia) to JJ, Wyatt, and Elizabeth. Loving Sister to George (Sandra) and Alex (Vicki) Moulas. Loved by many Nieces, Nephews, and considered to be a second Mother, Thea, (Aunt) and Yiayia to many. Preceded in death by her loving husband Frank of 47 years, parents Basilios and Garoufalia Moulas, in-laws Gregorios and Kalliope Partalis and sister-in-law’s Angela and Ethel Partalis. Beth was a devoted servant of Jesus Christ our Savior and to her Church, where she was instrumental in developing the Sunday School program at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Detroit, Michigan. She was involved in the Philoptochos Society, baking for countless Greek Festivals and delivering food and encouragement to Shut-ins. She belonged to the Red Hat Society and was an avid Bocce player. A private Funeral Mass will be held at St. Demetrious Greek Orthodox Church in Ft. Lauderdale Florida, followed by a burial at Lauderdale Memorial Park, next to her beloved Frank. All memorial donations may be made to St. Demetrious Greek Orthodox Church in Ft Lauderdale, Florida or St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church Sunday School or Scholarship Fund in Troy, Michigan.
