Antonino Tripoli

Antonino Tripoli, 70, of Plantation Florida, passed away on February 20, 2024 peacefully in his sleep.

Tony was born on August 22, 1953 to Grazia Corso in Palermo, Sicily. After graduating college in 1971 he made his journey to the United States and settled in Queens New York. 

A carpenter by trade, Tony started his career painting and took his first job with Bulgari. Over the years Tony kickstarted many business ventures in carpentry, of which his proudest was the many construction projects he was able to complete with his son Anthony Tripoli.

In 1978, Tony met Teresa Ferrara at the Franca Bakery in Brooklyn New York.  She swore she would never marry a man who hung out at a coffee shop.  She did not keep her promise and they were married for 44 years. Tony and Teresa went on to have two children, MariaTeresa and Anthony.

Tony had many passions in life.  Above all he loved his family, friends and of course, food.   He was always attracted to the action, whether it be his favorite horse, the poker table, or calling the numbers at the family Tombola and card games.  One of his favorite ways to start the game was to say “Fascination is the name of the game, the more you put down the less you pick up!”

Tony is survived by wife Teresa, daughter MariaTeresa, son Anthony and two granddaughters Anastasia and Antonella.

Visitation Service will be held at T.M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home on Monday February 26, 2024 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM and Mass will be held at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church on Tuesday February 27^th, 2024 from 10:30AM to 11:30AM
