Anna Rose Tisdale

Listen to Obituary

After 100 years on Earth, Anna Rose Tisdale went to be with the Lord, joining His Heavenly Chorus and gaining her wings on September 15, 2025.

Some people called her Annie. But to her family, she was known by the best names of all, mom and grandma.

The daughter of Joseph and Josephine Pagano, Annie was born in Manhattan, New York on February 4, 1925. Annie lived most of her life in Brooklyn and in South Florida. She had most recently resided in Sunrise, Fla.

One of the kindest, strongest, sweetest, most loving and sharp-witted women you’ve ever met, that was Annie. She was a beautiful soul, both inside and out. Drawing from her Italian roots, Annie was an incredible cook. Her meatballs and Sunday gravy were the best! Fuhgedabotit! There wasn’t anything Annie loved more than pizza except maybe her family.

Her passion though, was dancing and singing. From an early age, Annie loved to show off her dancing moves and her vocal skills. She was very active in her church where she sang in the choir for many years and acted in every church play they had. Annie liked bingo and seemed to have a lucky streak because she would always win! Family was everything to her and she made you feel it and know how much you are loved. You were cherished by her and in turn, we cherished her.

We will miss her so very much. She was the glue to our family. She was the heart of our family. She was the best woman we ever knew and we got to call her mom and grandma and friend.

She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Harry Tisdale. Left to cherish her memory are her four children, Jesse Tisdale, Frances Bragg, Joanne Mastronardi, and Annette Del Pino; grandchildren Jennifer Mastronardi, Michael Bragg, Nicole Del Pino, Christina Del Pino, and Brittany Del Pino; and her great grandchildren Taylor Beasley, Chase Beasley and Luca Mastronardi.

Proverbs 31:28a - her children rise up and call her blessed.

Proverbs 31:26 - She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.

1Corinthians 13: 4-8a - love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy. It does not boast. It is not proud. It does not dishonor others. It is not self seeking. It is not easily angered. It keeps no records of wrong. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices in the truth, it always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always preserves, love never fails.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. at T. M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home. Annie’s Funeral Service will be held Friday, September 26, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest following the service at 1:30 p.m. at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Florida.
