Agnes Stefanelli

Agnes Stefanelli, 92, of Miramar, and a resident of South Florida since 1956, died September 27, 2022. She was born on December 23, 1929, in Syracuse, New York to Phillip and Nancy Belvito, the youngest of seven children. She met and married John Stefanelli in Syracuse, New York. They were married 56 years until John’s death in 2006.

Agnes was an active member of St. Bonaventure Parish, a member of the Legion of Mary, and a Eucharistic minister. She was an employee of the Broward County School Board, working at Dillard Middle School for twelve years. As a hobby, she generated a countless number of ceramic art works which we will all cherish for many years into the future. Agnes was thought of by all as 'such a sweet lady'.

Agnes is survived by her son, James Stefanelli, wife Gerri; grandson Dana Stefanelli, wife Laurie, and great grandson Sander; granddaughter Amy Stefanelli; daughter Shri Stefanelli; grandson Jonathan Stefanelli, great granddaughter Natali, and great grandson Braden; granddaughter Jennet Amonte, great grandson Calen; granddaughter Devin Harrison, husband Matthew, great grandsons Brantley & Beckett, great granddaughter Afton; daughter Donna Rizzo, husband Richard; granddaughter Kristin Blitch, husband Brian, great granddaughter Eleanor; grandson Ryan Rizzo; daughter Michele Stefanelli, husband Denis Pierce; son Michael Stefanelli, granddaughter Lauren Stefanelli.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, October 6th, 11:00 AM at St Bonaventure Catholic Church, 1301 SW 136th Ave, Davie, FL 33325, with a reception immediately following Mass.
