With heavy hearts and profound admiration, we remember Agata “Ina” Di Pace Saia, who peacefully departed this life on July 28, 2026, in Weston, Florida. Agata’s legacy is one written in love, unwavering devotion to her family, and the countless moments of warmth that she bestowed upon those who were fortunate enough to be part of her life.

Agata’s hands crafted not only a welcoming home but also a sanctuary where her children, grandchildren, and every guest found comfort and care. Her home was truly a haven—a testament to her dedication as a homemaker, where every detail, lovingly tended, reflected her desire for those she loved to feel cherished, safe, and nurtured. To step into her household was to be enfolded by the embrace of care, laughter, and delicious aromas that promised nourishment for both body and spirit.

An amazing Italian cook, Agata’s kitchen was the heart of every gathering. To her, preparing a meal was an act of generosity and an art form. She delighted in feeding all who crossed her threshold, always preparing abundantly, her signature dishes a symbol of her thoughtfulness—“just in case.” No one left her table hungry, and the warmth of her hospitality lingered long after the last plate was cleared.

Agata was a matriarch whose capacity for love shone most brightly in the role she held dearest: that of mother and grandmother. To be counted among her children and grandchildren was to know the singular joy of her affection, her gentle humor, and her ready empathy. She was the steadfast anchor of her family, possessing a spirit that was hardworking, loving, kind, and loyal. Her soul was ever inclined toward peacemaking, her wisdom and empathy offering solace through life’s turbulence.

She found abundant joy in the tender moments spent caring for and babysitting her grandchildren as babies, her eyes alight with pride and adoration. Each grandchild was a source of happiness and inspiration to her, and she was deeply involved in their lives, nurturing and guiding with immeasurable patience and warmth.

Agata is survived by her beloved husband, Antonino Saia, whose partnership with her was the bedrock and cornerstone of her family’s unity and happiness. Together, they raised a family that continues to carry forth her spirit: her treasured daughters Francesca Weaver, Nina Martorana, Cathy Andino, and Josephine Cinelli; her loving son Lorenzo Saia; and her supportive daughter-in-law, Cathy Saia and sons-in-law, David Cinelli, Tony Martorana, Joel Weaver, and Bobby Andino.

Her radiant legacy lives on in her grandchildren: Anthony Saia, Victoria Cinelli, Francesco Martorana, Amanda Saia, Armani Cinelli, Brianna Andino, Justin Andino, Annalisa Martorana, Sofia Johnson, Liam Johnson, Austin Weaver, Alison Weaver, Ryan Langford, and Bach Nguyen. Each of them carries a part of Agata’s kindness, strength, and boundless love in their hearts.

While her departure leaves an immeasurable void, the family recalls with gratitude and tenderness her loving spirit, and her treasured memory will guide them as they navigate life’s journey without her physical presence.

Agata now joins in eternal peace her beloved mother, Caterina Spina; her father, Francesco Di Pace; her cherished sisters, Maria Di Pace Vassallo and Francesca Di Pace Lo Piccolo; and her dear brother, Giovanni Di Pace—all of whom no doubt welcomed her with open arms.

Family and friends are invited to honor Agata’s life and legacy at visitation on August 3, 2026, at T.M. Ralph Funeral Home Sawgrass/Weston, located at 371 NW 136th Ave, Sunrise, FL. A Mass in celebration of Agata’s life will be held on August 4, 2026, at Saint Bonaventure Catholic Church, 1301 SW 136th Ave, Davie, FL, followed by entombment at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1500 S State Rd 7, North Lauderdale, FL.
