Adriana Berrios, a beacon of kindness and warmth, left this world on January 4, 2026, at the age of 80. Born on August 26, 1945, Adriana dedicated 15 years of her life working at Westpine Middle School, where her passion for nurturing and caring for children shone brightly. Her colleagues and the children she served will always remember her as a loving presence who genuinely believed in the potential of every child.
Adriana was a woman of many interests and passions. She had an immense love for sports and cherished the thrill of attending Panthers Hockey Games. The joy of dancing was an integral part of her life, a reflection of her joyful spirit and her willingness to embrace every moment fully. Family was the heart of her existence; she thrived in their company, often gathering with laughter and love. One of her fondest hobbies was playing dominoes in the park with her beloved sister, Mirta, and her nephew, Denis—a time filled with both friendly competition and heartfelt conversation.
Her personality was as generous as her smile was welcoming. Adriana had a special gift for making everyone around her feel included and important. With her wonderful sense of humor, she brought joy to gatherings, creating memories that will be cherished forever. Her greatest pride was undoubtedly her family—her son Roland Jr., her daughter Ariana, and her cherished grandchildren, Ryan and Alana Cortes. These relationships were a testament to the depth of her love and the legacy she leaves behind.
Adriana is preceded in death by her daughter Alana Rani, who sadly passed away at just two years old. Though their time together was brief, the love she held for Alana never waned and will forever resonate in the hearts of her family.
Adriana's life will be honored with a visitation on January 12, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at T. M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home in Plantation, Florida. A Mass will be held in her memory at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Coral Springs on January 13, 2026, at 11:00 AM, followed by a burial at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery in North Lauderdale at 12:45 PM.
As we gather to celebrate the life of Adriana Berrios, let us remember her generous spirit, her laughter, and the endless love she gave to her family and friends. Her light will continue to shine brightly in the memories we hold and the love we share.
