Gary L. Shotwell

Shotwell, Gary L., 64, of Hialeah, died peacefully in his home surrounded by family and friends, March 6th, 1:00PM. Gary is a retired teacher from Lawton-Chiles Middle School, and also taught at American Senior High School and Lake Stevens Middle School. Prior to teaching, he was a Captain in the US Air Force, serving in Montana, Nebraska, Iceland, and Homestead, FL. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Scuro-Shotwell; parents, Harry and Laberta Shotwell of Minerva, OH; daughter, Valerie (Kevin) Killoran; grandchildren, Katelyn and Sean Killoran; sister, Janet (Bob) Cyders, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday, from 4:00PM-6:00PM at T.M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will begin at 5:00PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his loving memory to the “American Cancer Society”. Arrangements entrusted to T. M.
